Help! Anyone have any idea how we're going to open an account that accepts euros? I do have an EcoCard that is in euros, but have no idea if I can wire to it. Any information out there.

I just received the quicktender email regarding the limited times for payouts. We've got to move quickly, yet I have no idea what to do. I have emailed ecocard to ask if I can wire there, but if I can't I'm up a creek. Any Ideas?
thanks

I want my money also. I received that email on June 7th, wonder if I will receive it again. Does this mean that our money is still in the QT accounts, even though we cant access the site. I suppose they can't send us all a check.

They will be allowing us to log in during a brief period from July 1 - August 15 to withdraw our money to a Euro account.

I have mine resolved, thank heavens! Here's what I did... I called my bank and talked to the wire department. I asked if they have a relationship with a bank that can receive a wire in euros, and glory be they do!!! I got the complete wiring information and I'm set... it goes to the euro account then converts to usd then to my usd bank account here. I don't have a clue what I"ll pay to do it, but it's my 500 and I'll gladly pay the fees.

I've always been hesitant to wire directly to my bank account, but in this case I cannot afford to lose the money. So if I were you I'd start at my own bank first.

I did discuss with the lady that I'd worked online and they wanted to pay me in euros from their account... didn't blink an eye, thanks Carey for that ...

Nikki I'm sure you'll get the second email. If not I'll paste mine to your pm, let me know....

1. under no circumstances can we use ecocard ;( I've written them all morning, and even though this was a wire transfer from qt's bank to the ecocard bank, here is there answer:
Thank you for contacting the EcoCard Support Team!

Please be informed, that you can only make wire transfers from your personal bank account.

If the merchant (in your case Quicktender) makes a wire transfer to our bank account, the transaction will fail.

Please feel free to contact us should you require any further assistance.

What they need to do is open up the email transfer of money again. But I'm sure they won't
Then u could transfer the money to a friend outside the country. But alas I'm sure they won't. Feel badly for you guys.

2. I too need this money badly so I called my bank directly. I asked for the Wire Department. There I asked if they have a relationship with an international bank so I can receive a wire in euros. They said YES. They have an account with a bank in Germany. She gave me the wire information for the German bank, and told me to use that swift code and iban number along with my local account number and my name. The wire will be in euros, go to Germany, be converted to USD and transferred to my local bank in USD.

I figure there will be at least two fees, one for the conversion to euros, one for the receipt of the euros at the German bank and possibly one when it arrives in my account. I don't care, I'm tickled to know I can get any of the money at all.

Again, my advice, call your own bank. Ask if they have a relationship with an International bank so you can receive a bank wire in euros. It is no business of theirs where it is coming from, but if you feel the need to explain, you can say you're being paid for working online and they want to pay you in Euros wired to you. If they have one ask what numbers and info you need to receive the transfer. If not try another bank.

Good luck everybody.

All banks have this, a bank can not deny money cause it is in euros or any other denomination, expect fees tho. QT can denie them since you live in america.

So all I need is the swift code then to get my money? So damn confusing!!

Please note we will not send any funds that claim to be destined for a EURO account to a 9 digit Fedwire/ABA routing number. If you obtain a EURO account from a USA based bank they will be able to provide you with the BIC/Swift Code and /or an International Bank Account Number (IBAN).

Coffee a small home town bank might not have an account at a foreign bank. And qt will not wire the money anywhere into the US directly. So it has to be a foreign bank receiving the funds. As NYgirl pasted from the qt email:

NYgirl39, call your own bank. Ask if they have a relationship with an International bank so you can receive a bank wire in euros. It has to be an international wire, not directly to a US bank. The international bank has a BIC/Swift code or an IBAN number or both. You MUST have that number for qt to wire.
