i must have done something wrong..
I dumped in this exact order... didn't mix, put it in the oven @ 350 for one hour and the cake mix is sitting on top RAW:ahhhhh5645

well as soon as i quit laffin at "did you turn the oven on - came to give you a lil advice!

Try putting the cake mix in the pan first and cooking at 25 degrees more than called for until the cake starts rising. Then turn the oven back down. This will cause the top of the cake mix firm a little faster and not allow the other ingredients to sink through to the bottom.

If that doesn't work when the cake is done flip it upside down onto a platter like you would a pineapple upside down cake!

oh and got a question. Even though it fifn't look right how did it taste??

Nope I dumped everything in the pan in order... ( did I have to spread it out in the pan or just dump everything in on top of eachother?

this was a totally different cake than the first one!!
It looked like one of those "everything but the kitchen sink" end of the month throw togethers. But this one too was AWESOME!!

Well I did the just "dumping" the first time.. since it is called a "dump cake"
so tomorrow I am going to try layering each thing after I dump it
hence I will re name it a layered dump cake

You aren't draining the crushed pineapple are you? Using a 20 oz. crushed pineapple (with juice and 20 oz cherry pie filling?) I am sorry I don't know why you are having problems with this cake as I have made it plenty times with no issues at all. :think
