You have got to try this cake recipe!

I have one of my grown sons that lives with me. Well, dessert has always been my downfall. It also is a challenge sometimes because my son is allergic to nuts and chocolate so that leaves a lot of things out.

HOWEVER, this Cherry Dump Cake is sooooo easy and sooooooooo good, who needs chocolate!

Dump in a 9" X 13" pan - Do not mix - just dump in this order:

1 CAN CHERRY PIE FILLING
1 CAN CRUSHED PINEAPPLE
1 BOX YELLOW CAKE MIX
2 STICKS BUTTER, MELTED

Sprinkle top with coconut (and optional chopped nuts) Bake at 350 degrees for one hour!

I would try it if I could work out half the ingredients - is a yellow cake mix just a plain cake mix, and how much is a stick of butter please Judy - also will have to see if we have cherry pie filling here. That's my sort of recipe.

Yes yellow cake mix is just that, yellow or plain or vanilla or butter, lol any of those would work I would think and a stick of butter is equal to 8 tablespoons. ​

i must have done something wrong..
I dumped in this exact order... didn't mix, put it in the oven @ 350 for one hour and the cake mix is sitting on top RAW
