Well Summer hit with a vengeance today, it reach 40 deg cel or 104 deg Fahrenheit, was still 35 at 7 pm, hopefully it will cool down a little overnight.

I live in upstate NY a little town outside of Albany (Capital of NY), weather is beautiful here, we just got our first real snowfall, and I love it. I love the cold...and the nighttime. My mom says I've always been like that, she says I should have been born a Vampire on the North Pole. Anyway about 5 inches of snow on the ground with temps only reaching about 20 degrees during the day and below 0 at night LOVE ITTTT

Welcome to the forum Missssy77, I'm sorry to hear the weather is so miserable for you, hope it improves before Christmas. Titanic dunno if I would like living in cold countries even though I don't like it when we have the extreme heat, but there's one thing that I have always wanted to see and that is a White Christmas.

We are having a heat wave here, it's 101.5 and it's about 4 hours until the hottest part of the day, so am not looking forward to it. Unfortunately, we have a northerly wind with it, so just have to hope there are no bushfires. Am hoping the weather bureau are wrong they predict the weather to be the same until Saturday.

That is too hot for me. It was about 45 degrees here today and sunny. The forecast for the next 10 days shows upper 30's and low 40s. That I can handle :snwman

Yeah it is nasty Judy, all you can do is just sit or lie around the place until it finally cools, and unfortunately it's supposed to be hot until Saturday, so we won't even get any relief at night for sleeping.

Here in the southern tier of New York it is 7 degrees at the moment with wind chill advisories of -5 to -15 degrees. It was worse yesterday -10 with wind chills of -15 to -25 degrees.
