Many times i have played and usually i deposit $25-30 at a time and try and build my way up, but alot of times, i always say, its not really worth cashing out unless i get to $400-$500 that is usually my goal.

But so many times if i do get up to $200-$300, i'll drop all the way down to $100 or below, then i'll get up to $500-$600 and lose all the way down again, now if i would just stick to my plan of cashing out when i get to a certain amount, then i wouldn't complain, but what i'm getting to is that i have seen where you can go 100's of spins not hitting the bonus round or when you do, you come no where close to what you spent to hit the bonus round.

When i play at Rival casinos, i have spun $120 away betting $1 a spin, and never once hit the bonus round at all. This usually happens on pigskin payout and scary rich2 the most for me. I can spin and spin and spin, and never hit the bonus round.

Its amazing to me, that it goes forever sometimes and never hits the bonus round. But other times, like on Travel bug, i can hit the bonus round 6 times within 10 minutes.

but i have seen many times when using a bonus, i'll be hitting really good, and when i close in on completing wagering requirements, it always seems i start losing it all as well.

Usually, i never get anywhere playing at Rival casinos, when depositing $25-$30 i usually lose my deposit within 20-30 minutes, never really getting about $50.

every now and then, i'll get to $100 or so but can't get anywhere from there. Usually, i find myself often times on the losing side in the beginning, then i'm just fighting for 1 hour just trying not to lose my deposit. If i could start off winning a little or hitting a good round to double my deposit, then i might get somewhere.

But, like everyone says, thats gambling.

You know, when it says it pays out 98%

for every $100 it will pay out $98

well, if someone cashes out $10,000 of a $100 deposit, the money has to be made up somewhere else. Casinos definitely aren't in business to lose money thats for sure.

and if anyone isn't comfortable playing online or at a land based casino because you think its rigged, then you shouldn't be playing.

With poker, bingo, and casino, if you have played long enough, you know what to expect out of it, and know how it is, if you can't accept the fact the way it is, you shouldn't be playing.

I dont know but you can probably make 999 continue plays so its probably the most rich player that wins in the end... Many Micro tourneys are designed that way, especially at Red Flush and GoWild, and you need to get on #1 spot to actually win something at all after all deposits need to break all other hysterical players that play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play and play....

I hope to see a fair tournament one day....a fair tournament have ONE entry fee NO re-buys and NO continue plays availible and let say you can play for 10-15 minutes instead of 4-6 min.

I wonder why I never see any tourney like that? Hm...because there is always a catch with these tournaments and a fair tournament would not generate as much to the casino as one with unlimited re-buys and 999 continue play options.....

Enjoying this thread, thanks everyone...

a question along this line... does anyone know? Each casino has an average payback... like eishagirl referred to - but does it vary within the software? Like do the RTG's all have the same average payback - or does each casino get to set their payback differently? I know there are certain ones I never ever win at, while I consistently hit at others...

curious people want to know lol

Labell,

I think I may be able to answer this!

First, CEKS are you my long lost twin as I am so with you on every comment you make so far. HA

From my friend who is a very high up manager/developer for a casino software company, all the casinos are networked together and they all payout the same supposedly! It is a pretty complex thing from what I have been told in terms of their networking, but basically you have an account say at 4 RTG's, but in reality you only have one account that plays on the platform and "SHOULD" payout the same at all RTG's. Does this make sense? Not sure I explained it very well as like I said, pretty complex if you don't know anything about networking. :O It's my understanding this is the case for landbased casinos too, you have that card you put in the machine and they can keep track of what you win and loose based on that card and that card can change the odds based on your winnings or losses.....talk about big brother!!

Hey Ceks, there are some casinos that have tournaments that you can win with just one buyin. Its about getting a starting stack and not losing with it. You can re-buy if you go bust, but you start back at the original starting stack.

These tournaments are at Vegas Technology Casinos such as English Harbour ,Millionaire Casino, Slots Galore, and more.

This is a pretty trusted group from what i understand, but if you want a "fair" tournament, one buyin could really win it all for you.

Its all about bankroll management with these tournaments. There are like special tournies that might be prizepools up 100,000 and run for a whole month as well as weekly ones as well. Also, daily sit n go style tournaments that run for 24 hrs.

Anyways, hope this helps you out, and you probably for sure know about these already.

Would be fair to everyone.

Igamblealot YES I do understand... I think you said we're playing through a portal and the games reside at the software manufacturer's servers.... So all RTG's probably have the same payback as there is really only one set of software and it's the same at each "location". And each different casino within that software group is in reality simply a portal to the main server....

Eishagirl I play at those every week... I love the fact that I can deposit $20 and play indefinitely... as long as I conserve the tournament bankroll... The really really hard part for me though is not going back in and losing it all... Last month I was in fourth place for the month long video poker tourney... but I just couldn't keep my hands off it... this month I'm sitting up there again - and it's gonna be a loooooonnnnnggggg wait! rofl

jdguiles - I blew through the two hundred dollar chips from Club World / Aladdin's Gold in minutes - I've finally decided if I want to play longer I've got to stop using turbo mode! lol

Hey this is a great thread, thanks for starting it...

Labell,

Yes that is pretty much my understanding from the friend I have. It's my understanding though that the software actually sits on the casino owner's own server and then is networked back to a main server that controls it if that makes sense. Again, I could be totally off the mark on how I was explained this as I know a lot about computers, but networking I am still a little bit of a virgin on.....:O

I think maybe you should take a break from gambling if that is how you feel. I see the opposite and let me tell you I just came back from Vegas where I lost my ass big time! I come home to Red Flush and hit 5k, I was an azz and lost it all back but that is way more then I have ever won at a land based casino.

If your playing in a casino we list your NOT being cheated that is a promise, if you playing some place where we warn you then so sorry but we do warn.

Anyway Ceks you cannot be serious, go have a look in the jackpot rm for someone that wins as much as you cannot be getting cheated come on!!

Last summer, I won € 7,000 at Holland Casino (Amsterdam) -- the biggest I ever won...

My experience with online slots for quite some time: I am a regular depositor at Villento, and I often go beyond 1,000 on a $ 100 deposit... the trick is to find the cashout button of course .. heheh, but I keep coming back for more, because I feel that Villento has the loosest slots at the moment, why not give them a try?
