I like a good horror movie! A few yrs. ago I couldn't watch one by myself.. I feel so grown-up now I can watch them alone! Now, it's the more disturbing, (could really happen) genre that I have trouble with. Like An Inconvient Truth, I had to watch with a friend!!! Even though I'm pretty hip to lot's of those issues, couldn't watch it alone!
In 1/2 an hour, one of the most bent, and totally bizzare movies is on. Blue Velvet! It's been yrs. since a friend turned us onto it. Will see if it's still as bent or if I'VE CAUGHT UP and become more twisted

Night of the living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, etc. etc. Those movies all had a social commentary, where we were at as a sociaty- our values and race relations as well. Even when he remade Night of the living?? (I think that was the one a few yrs. ago ) he did the same. Very, very brilliant man IMO
