I think you're correct... that the individual casinos are gateways to the main server. That they are simply the doorway and they don't host the games themselves.... I think it's that way with the others too, not just Rival, but Microgaming and RTG. I would think though that the main server can alter the payout percentages according to the wishes of the casino owner. But I don't know this as fact.

I know for sure that with Microgaming this is not the case, only some casinos that belong to the same group, like the Palace Group casinos for example, run on the same server.
But 32RED runs on its own server, together with sister Dash.
You can see that if you watch the jackpot thermometers, the values are the same for the entire palace group, but 32red/Dash show completely different values.

I believe you are totally right about Micros. Many calls over the years to see if and who thier 'sister' casinos were. Some had none, some had 2-3

I'm begining to wonder about the J.P. thermometers lately. It seems they re-set them all at a certain time. I've played at Royal Joker for instance and logged out or even stayed on one game for a while, come back and ALL or the majority are set at 100%. So, I started paying less attention to the meters, if the game sucks, I change.

I 86's a Rival last night, live chat to inquire about a bonus... Waste my time!

Why is it that live support, on other platforms too- you type all info, knowing what they need- and then they ask again????? Don't they have the screen right there???

lol that girl is forbidden to flush ice cubes she has a four day weekend now because of Presidents Day on Monday... as she left the house on Thursday, the only normal school day this week, she lamented that she should have flushed more cubes!

I've been waiting for two payouts, finally came tonight, yippee, but I'm cautiously deciding where to play next! I am doing pretty good at Caribbean GOld... in the 9th spot of the $100,000 tourney, will pay a grand if I hold in, $500 if I slip into 10 to 20th spots.... Now I've got to practice keeping Mama Hogg in line and not play around with it....

It's Vegas Technology software - I've been playing a lot there - if I deposit on a bonus match day it gives me enough to play a tournament every day plus the specials. And becaue of the length of play time - you have to be careful not to get too greedy and play yourself right out of the running.

Beaches is busy for the next few months till tax time is over... she's the perfect person to help keep Mama Hogg in line

This scheduled downtime should not last too long (10-20 mins) and Rival will do everything to minimize the time.

HAHA...whatta joke...who they try to fool, they WILL mess up and it will probably take many hours..... at least 1 so far...LOL!!
