I will try to ask Inet again. They did say I could only wager $1, but they did not specify if this applies to slots with fixed bets above $2 like The Three Stooges and Shopping Spree.

Okay I got the final answers and I feel really embarassed. It was much ado about nothing. I should have just asked them before I posted. Only thing I can think is they may have adjusted the policy after people complained.
Here's the exchange:

Okay in a very weird scenario I got to play this all out today.
I was playing a bonus, I bet $2 at one point, and I made the playthrough and put in for a withdrawal. I'll keep you posted!
