Win a trip to Oktoberfest €18,000 giveaway at Paddy Power Poker
10 August 2012

DUBLIN, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- After a mostly washed out summer Paddy Power Poker sets its sights firmly on autumn with three trips to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany, to give away in an €18,000 poker jamboree known as Pokertoberfest.

Pokertoberfest runs from August 13 to September 9, 2012. Three packages to Oktoberfest worth €3,500 each will be given away as well as thousands of euros in cash prizes.

Players must opt in to take part in Pokertoberfest. A player’s VIP level on August 13 determines the route they will take during Pokertoberfest.

Power One and Power Two - Earn 500 Power Points to get entry to a €4,500 Pokertoberfest Online Poker Freeroll with one Oktoberfest package up for grabs as well as €1,000 in cash prizes.

Power Three and Power Four - Three points races and a grand final leaderboard, with a total prize pool of €7,750. The winner gets the Oktoberfest package.

Max Power and Max+ Power - Two points races and a grand final leaderboard, with a total prize pool of €6,750 in prizes for the runners up. The winner gets the Oktoberfest package.

The Oktoberfest packages include entry to Oktoberfest, €500 spending money, Segway tour of Munich, two nights accommodation in a top Munich hotel, VIP dinners, guided culinary tour of Munich and exclusive entry to an Oktoberfest nightclub.

Communication manager at the site, Paddy Power, said, “Busty serving girls, giant steins of beer, lederhosen (optional), sausages galore and a Segway racing, sorry . . . a Segway tour. What better way to banish the summer blues than a trip to Munich.

“We like a party at Power Towers so thought we’d come up with a good reason to hit Oktoberfest this autumn with some of our loyal players and paint the town red German style. Now, whose round is it?”
