Doesn't that figure, with my luck!

My local fed-ex is about 4 miles down the road from me. It's almost 5:00 pm and nothing yet!

The web site says it's on the truck for delivery................ ho hum......

Well,

My withdrawal saga is finally over!

I checked the fed-ex site last night:

It said "package not due for delivery" and was returned to the facility.

So, this chic shows up today...... sticks the envelope in the door..... I go out and catch her.

I asked her: "Were you the same parcel 'chauffeur' that had my package all day yesterday and proceeded to take it on a tour of Decatur, only to return it to the facility?".......... She said, "yes". I then asked, "Is there a marking anywhere on the package that says 'Do not deliver prior to the 14th?'".. She said, "No". Then she said, "We don't HAVE to deliver anything before scheduled date."

According to the Fed-ex web site: She had already checked it back in by 4:30. But, she said she didn't have time to get this way.

Oh, the joys of life!!!

They do that a lot weesie!! One time I was anxiously awaiting a package and was so happy to see that it was "on truck for delivery" a day early!! I was so happy BUT it never came! It got rescheduled back to the original date. I asked my UPS guy about it and he said if packages are early they stay on the truck and are the last to get delivered, if they run out of time then its these early packages that get pushed ahead for delivery the next day. Since then, I never get excited if it looks like I will get a package early!:woooooow​
 
It's funny because I had one coming from inet and it was sheduled to be delivered tomorrow but it was out on the truck today. I thought great, I'll get it a day early. But oh no it drove around with the fedex guy all day and then was returned to the office and will go out again tomorrow. Oh well tomorrow it is then. lol

I hate the anticipation and then disappointment! So glad its finally got a happy ending!
 
That's just so whacked to me that they take it out and drive it around just to retuen it ...seems like it could get lost easier that way ?? course mines on the truck for delivery but not due til tomorrow so not expecting it ..i did leave a note on the door just in case though
 
Received the last installment of my Randon win yesterday from High Noon by courier check. Also received my winnings from Cherry Red that I have been waiting for since May 30th. My withdrawal from Rushmore was reprocessed on July 19th and should be receiving that any day now. Finially all caught up.
