Nooooo..........I'm sorry too. I've been with the Streak for over 2 years now and most of my posts are on the old forum. I enjoy coming and reading all the posts and info from you great mods and streakers! I don't make a lot of posts and I should have known better than to reply to anything concerning politics, government or religion. haha

I'm sorry if I offended you liz or seaman. I just reacted to the topics and was never on any attack. Please accept my apologies. :butterfly

The scariest thing about any of these candidates is Obama's Muslim roots, YES, he did attend a Muslim school when he was young, and his father was Muslim. For the leader of our country to have any Muslim ties is extremely disturbing. I don't care much for any polititians, but I would want someone with more experience. I also don't care at all for his wife's negative comments about being finally "proud to be an American" and other stupid comments that a potential first lady should be making, or even having that attitude.
And then there's the Rev. Wright....that should be enough to turn anyone away from Obama. The only reason why he "distanced himself" from that clown was because his advisors told him it would hurt his campaign not to.He acts like he never heard any of that racist and anti-American rhetoric, yet he would sit and lsiten to his sermons every Sunday. So already he's lying...

I personally like Ron Paul, although he is too much of an underdog to win.
He's joining Barney Frank in the fight to overturn the gambling ban.

How dare you insinuate that my Father or myself bury our heads. Do you live in the bible belt by any chance??

And what;s wrong with the Bible Belt? That to me sounds like a prejudicia comment. I happen to live there and it's fine with me.
And maybe if the US would use profling at least for the airlines, the rest of us wouldn't have to be put through all the extra security. Until grandmas, or middle age white men, or young Asian men, or anyone other than Middle Eastern men between the ages of 18 and 45 start suicide bombings and terrorest attacks, only the latter group should be highly scrutinized and put through extra security. No one wants to be "politically in-correct" so we just go along like sheep and put up with all this Patriot Act crap. It's high time we took a long look at Muslims in the US...and if that offends anyone, too bad. Thats what is wrong with this country now, so scared we'll hurt someone's feelings. If it were Americans pulling off these terrorist attacks in other countries, what do you think would happen to any of us traveling or living there?

If I have to explain, ya wouldn't understand... Especially in the heat of the post.

People bag on Los Angeles all the time, I just laugh it off!

Anyway- enough of this.. All is cool and Judy and others are right about getting back to fun.

Hmmmm- I dated an Iranian man in my early 20's. He is muslim. But just like the majority of any group he or his family are not lunitic fringe!!! I'm still good friends with him to this day and some of his family. He's a business owner and tax paying citizen. He has THE MOST HANDSOME sons, but with names like Dari or Raza I'm sure they catch crap, even though they were born here.

One more from Voltaire-- "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities."

Kayjay...please be sure that you did not offend me and there is no need to apologize. You have your opinion and I have mine. I´m able to respect everyone´s opinion, no matter if religious or political. And I´m full of respect about people who stand up for their opinion. That is the spirit of an open discussion done by people with free minds. Hopefully you did understand that nothing what I said was intended to offend you or everyone else.

I know I used radical statements, I did it because in my opinion it is helpful to get some attention to my point of view.

Oh, I understand perfectly. For a country that's supposed to be so politicaly correct, it's always been okay to make fun of the South. I see more ignorance and lack of respect for others from many of the Southern wanna-bes that move here from other areas of the country.
It's funny to me why everyone wants to retire here.

You know, As I said before... this conversation is done. I am getting offended, now. I happen to live in a country where we welcome all races and some of my best friends happen to be Muslim. Not all Muslims are raised to believe that suicide bombings are a must. Please don't categorize all people of Muslim religion. This is done. Now go have fun and forget all this now.!!!!!!!!

Enough everyone this thread is getting way out of hand!!! This forum is for gambling and a home away from home it is not a place that anyone should feel like they are not wanted!

I have been traveling all over the world the last 17 months and I can tell you that I have made many many friends of many different religions and different cultures and I would not give any of those friendships up for anything! I can admit before I traveled I was grossly uneducated about the other parts of the world and never thought of anything beyond the US borders, so I think many others are the same way.

All Streakers are wanted, loved and appreciated no matter their religion, culture, beliefs or race!

I hate to close and lock threads but this one here is out of control and if I see anymore rude post I will close it!

I have to agree with you on that. I have been a Ron Paul supporter for months now, my son actually got me turned on to him. he is wonderful and if you listen to him at these debates.. there is no question that the people would choose him. BUT they dont give him much exposure at all, they DONT want him to win, he scares them because he is one of us and thinks like one of us regular folks and actually cares about CHANGING the USA! The ONLY candidate in my opinion that truly wants that!

Oh and thanks guys for not letting this thread get any worse than the dierction it was going already!!
