Paddy Power Poker launches Irish Winter Festival mega satellite

DUBLIN, Ireland -- (PRESS RELEASE) -- Paddy Power Poker announced details of its Irish Winter Festival Mega Satellite, which will take place on Sunday Oct. 13 at 8 p.m. The annual Mega Sat will guarantee twenty packages to the live poker festival worth €1,700 each; that's a total prize-pool of €34,000 up for grabs.
To make it even more mega this year, the buy in has been reduced to €160 + €10 in the no-limit Hold'em freezeout satellite. Each €1,700 package consists of a €1,125 buy in to the Irish Winter Festival main event as well as four nights' accommodation in the Double Tree Hotel (formerly the Burlington) and €259 expenses for travel.
Players can buy in directly to the Mega Sat or try to qualify through one of the many daily online poker feeder satellites or Sit 'n' Go games.
Anyone who wins their Irish Winter Festival seat on Paddy Power Poker will have the added bonus of the Six Survivor promotion, whereby the six longest lasting online qualifiers in the IWF live event will win a buy in to the Irish Open 2014 event, along with any prize money they might pick up too.
