What may confuse members here, is the fact that ordering / issuing the card is a separate process from subsequently crediting any funds onto it.
Members will be charged a card issuing fee of USD 35, which will be deducted from their Intertops account once the card is issued and mailed out to the customer.
I can’t comment on the specific cases discussed as I am missing the account numbers, but assuming they had $50 in their balance when they requested the card, $35 would have been taken out for the card issuing and the remaining $15 would have been left in their Intertops account.
Possibly the customer may have used the $15 in the casino in the meantime, not realizing that these were the funds he/she hoped to transfer to the card (however this is guessing from my end).
Also note, that there is a minimum transfer amount to the card of $50 / transaction and a total max of $3000 per card.
The card cannot be used at ATM machines as it does not come with a PIN. It’s probably more a gift card, than a debit card in that respect, however it can be reloaded up to the $3000 mentioned.
All the details can be found in our cashier. You’ll just need to login to see it.
Hope this helps.
