its too freakin cold

tuesday we hit a record temp -42 air temp (not including wind chill)
but its warming up today and this weekend we will see above zero, its gonna be a heat wave :haha

with temps of -26 and with windchills -46 this morning they actually cancelled school something they havent done in International Falls for many many years.

Oh my gosh Winter! Isn't International Falls actually the COLDEST place in Minnesota (always!)? You poor thing, I grew up in St. Paul MN and thought that was bad enough!snowmanz

yep we are the icebox of the nation, today its -39 with no windchill but Embarass MN is like -47 but today we are supposed to warm up to -1 so its warming up :dancelady

We've been snowed under during the holidays from the week of Christmas through the New Year's week. Then, it warmed up for a day or two and now it's freezing again along with a strong case of inversion.

I figured they'd at least cancel school one of the days it snowed real bad, but as my teenage daughter said, "Hell would have to freeze over a dozen times before they'd close our school." Now I know she isn't kidding.

LOL krazy! I live 50 miles north of north of Spokane and trust me that 6 feet of snow we got before Christmas and the below 0 weather before that really sucked! We are staying fairly warm though lately, thank goodness. We had the Pineapple Express go through and melt a lot of snow here. Of course I also know that it could turn nasty at any second again.

Just fininshed with 5 days of rain, now the grass is growing, dandelions have gone to seed:grow and it is too wet to mow, but thank goodness the SUN is shining! Gotta love those sunny days!

It is definitely spring here. Rainy, cloudy, sunny, hot, cold, warm. Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes, it will change!

it's only 62 degrees here i can take or leave it

don't have nothing to do until later then it will probably be cold and need a winter coat
