Everything ok here. Actually not as bad as I thought it be. I hope all of you in NYC stay safe. The next couple of days look like it will be a struggle.

The search and rescue is going to be intense, they are finding more and more people have died and or missing. There is still no train or bus service in NY or NJ, schools are still closed. They have only just begin to access the damage and actually get to many of the areas. Today was the first day they could even get to Coney Island and Staten Island, they have found many more dead and trapped today and the damage is sooooo extensive. Atlantic City is under water, all the streets in the city so no way to get to the casinos(which are still closed anyway). We lost power last night for 3 hours, no idea why, it was crazy, I had Vixen checking the news for me and keeping mu updated. Thank god it was only for 3 hours. Millions are still without power. Manhattan still flooded in many areas and pretty much still shut down except they finally opened the Stock Exchange back up this morning! This is sooooooo bad!!

So very sad! Be aware there will be many scams for collecting donations as well!

It's just horrendous when these disasters strike as if you hadn't had enough problems with 9/11, glad to hear that they have the Stock Exchange back up again, it's going to take a long time for the area to recover.

More and more are dying every day. These people are homeless and freezing and starving. Thank god for all the citizens and neighbors going to bring them food and clothing!
