I was born 7-4-62 grew up in Los Angeles, you? I always thought I was born late, maybe cause I was the last of 5, super precosuous and at the age of 5 I was translating songs off the radio for my older sibblings!! We had family in San Fransisco, I've asked my older sister- what stopped you from jumping outta the car when Dad refused to take us to Haight Ashbury? If we were reversed, I woulda said, love ya, gotta go check out the hippie boys, music and drugs!!!

I did that eventually, well, thats another story!

I was born in san jose ca. the middle of 8 2 older bros 2 older sisters 2 younger sisters 1 younger bro. Dad worked for lockeed till I was 8 then we moved to Twain Harte about 2 hrs east of SF. Dad was also a golf pro and he took over a small mountain course and we lived in a house in the middle of the course on the back side. With a fishing stream right behind the house. Talk about lovin life. I moved to sonoma ca. after high school 72" and went into carpenters union. 76" moved to WA state and went into logging ran heavy equipment for a couple yrs. then moved to olympia wa. and went to work building 2 500'+ cooling towers. (never worked more than 2 story home)
finished in 79' and went with company to louisville KY an built another 506' tall tower.81' moved back to Twain harte builing homes again, nice to be on the ground again haha. 84' moved back to sonoma but mostly worked in SF and oakland and San Rafael remodeling and building police stations and court house;s 94' went to Teluiride Colorado to remodel a bar with reasturant for 3 months but stayed for 8 yrs. Damn way past bed time and this short note got long..anyway all the family was in WA and my oldest brother was killed in car wreck in 2002 so I wanted to get back close to Mom and rest of family and here I am living almost in the farthest NW corner of the USA. On a clear day I can see the vancouver Islands in BC. The End for now LOL never typed this much at one time, I think I'm buzzed from meds. don't usually stay up this late after taking them. Hey gufus, I am just about 6 miles from Port Townsend. I love it here (when not raining)lol Only 4 stop lights in hole county and the boat ramp is only 5 minutes away. HAHA and we even have a safeway........ I use to go down to Chehalis and centraila for parts etc. for the logging equipment seems it takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs to get there from here. My younger brother and oldest sister are headed thru there thursday to vancouver to visit mom for a couple days. I can't go dang it, More stinkin DR. appts. Guess I will just have to stay home and gamble, Bummer......How long you been there?? I just realized we kinda got off the whats your sign not where you live lmao. Srry lizzzz But Im a Cancer with Cancer. Is that a little weird or what??????? Bye for now, Im gettin a little gufus about now. Just better tell me:shutup2

Hey Mos- I'm a Cancer with Cancer as well. I have non-hodgkins lymphomia.

Had a Bone marrow trans about 17 years ago and all was well until it came back about 2 yrs. ago. Ain't that a bitch! My Oncoligist wants to watch and wait. He say's "Lizzie, your not sick now, but when I hit ya with chemo- you know" And (I don't understand this) but he said right now chemo could open me up to the chance of Lukiemia.

I was 28 the first time. Stage 4 with 70 percent of my bone marrow tummored. I had a yr and a half of chemo with few breaks between, was a young married couple with a 3 yr. old daughter.

Mine is enviromentally caused. The first time round- they NEVER saw some one so young with the type I had/have. It hit old people and Vietnam Vets. exposed to agent orange!

Unfortunatly, there are lots of young people with this lymphomia now. I was in a support group for young people 8-10 of us, I was one of the sickest. I went to most of their funerals, I'm the sole survivour.

I was seeing Dr. Mena AND a holistic Dr. who my best friend sent me to. I said I can't afford it! He said- afford what? I'm gonna treat you for free!!

It would be cool to exchange emails! If you want. [email protected] cause I've been around forever and I hate to bore my friends, unless I have a change. BTW- my immune system is screwed, I was SO sick for 4 weeks, just feeling better now.




I think it's kinda a cosmic thing that we started talking!!!

I was born and raised in Castle Rock-then I got married to a man in the service and I spent 20 yrs traveling.
After he retired we settled in Oakley Ca. at the time it was a small town(but not now..lol)
I worked for the visiting nurses association so I was in Walnut Creek, San Fran and around those areas alot.
My oldest son still lives in Santa Rosa-he went to Sonoma State University and stayed there. Well my husband had a massive heart attack and died so I decided to move back to WA.
Well I fell in love again and 3 yrs later he passed from COPD and cancer, so I decided to move to a small town that has 1 stop light..lol
I don't want to mention what town I live in because there are some strange people in this world.lol
I know I could tell you, so don't think I mean your strange ..lmao
I just spend my day fishing when I can and with my animals, I can't work anymore because I have heart disease, I am also a mod at the Gamblers Oasis.
I hope you and Liz beat this cancer thing-I would rather have heart disease over cancer any day. By the way Liz won't care that we got off on something else, you and her have alot in common.

I can't spell for shit, rapidly losing brain cells, think I'm down to 2 now. So--- I'm gonna go run a couple errands, come back and sleep.

Well gufus theres another place I lived a few miles away from "Oakley Ca."
When I was 18 I ran a tire shop in Brentwood for about a year, forgot about that. It took about 20 sec. to drive thru oakley if my memory is correct wasn't the town kinda on a pretty good bend in the road. Long ago !!
I also use to hitchike to SF (before I had d licence) to go to winterland
about 2 times a month for concerts, would get there night before with sleepin bag and wait for the doors to open. Lost my younger bro ther for about 3 hrs. Mom would have been none to happy if I went home without him LOL Saw many of the top bands of the time. Ok here I go again yak yak yak.

Lizzz you just get better, I really have to watch it with being around anyone thats sick too no immune sys. either. I just love to go shopping and have the cashier tell me how sick he or she is right when there dropping the money in my hand and have already fondled my grocries. Have to disinfect everything if I remember haha. ok see ya in the winners circle..........This was about 95' I think like you said 2 or 3 brain cells left..........

Oakley was a tiny town and your right it took about 20 sec. to drive threw it, there was a main road that went past Oakley right into brentwood. My kids went to high school in Brentwood, but that was the only high school then.
I don't know how long it has been since you saw Oakley but it has grown. Oakley has shopping centers, 3 high schools and lots of drugs and shootings.
Your a good looking man, do you still ride bikes????
What kind of fish do you fish for? I love to fish for bass but I rarely catch any, but its my favorite to eat besides blue gill and perch. I just fish off the bank I am scared to death to get in a boat. I'm afraid of the water-its a wonder I don't drown in the bath tub..lol
I have NO idea why I am telling you about the fish I like, unless I am trying to prove I only have 1 brain cell..lol

Mos- I think are meds make us not have any brain cells, your probably on the same med I am. My tongue goes faster than my brain after I take it.lmao
