This is wrong on so many levels:

Last night, I noticed an issue of "Rolling Stone" magazine on our table. It was from April, 2010. On the cover was........ wait for it...... the cast from "Glee"!!!!!!!! (I hate Glee!) How and in what world would that happen??? Wouldn't that be like mixing country music with rap????

I agree maybe Glee shouldn't be on the cover of Rolling Stones, however, I love the show. I love the issues they boldly face, love hearing all of the old songs they sing, and some of it may be enhanced, but so is everyone else that puts out a CD or music. They still have to be able to sing to song as good as it does.

Thanks for your comments.

I just can't get "glee" ............ I have seen so many previews and absolutely nothing about them triggers a response for me to want to watch.

Maybe it's because I am in my 50's that I think, or at least I thought.... "Rolling Stone" was a "rock/hard rock" magazine.

So, if you remember what "Rolling Stone" use to be like..............I bet some "rockers" were turning over in their grave when that issue came out!

Gotta agree with you there weesie. I have seen commercials for the show and just don't get it. gngr

When I first saw it advertised, I thought it was one of those shows like Americas Got Talent or the other singing shows, lol

Finally a like-minded viewer. I feel that some shows just get shoved down our throats and this is one of them. It all started because they do covers of already popular songs. How unique!

well, to be fair to the show, especially if have never seen it, its basically like a weekly sitcom(used sitcom for lack of better words) but its a show, that is about a Glee club, however, everyone involved with the Glee team is different from each other, but when they all come together, they sing beautifully in harmony.

Some are football players that get teased from the Jocks, a couple are Gay, one is in a wheel chair, some black, some white, some latino, etc. when they aren't singing they deal with some of the issues such as Bullying, family drama, etc

I am an 80's baby so so there is an age gap between some of us, and i'm sure for some of you, they show don't make alot of sense, I can understand and appreciate that, but just like always, times change, music changes, life changes, just like the so called "R & B" or "pop" I grew up listening to, the same catagories, just aren't the same as they used to be. Just like Classic rock, was your rock, and the 80's, 90's, and today's Rock just isn't the same for you guys.

Glee is a great show, especially for teens. It focuses on a bunch of outcasts in high school that are all in a glee club. They are all outcasts in their own way and all have issues, like 1 is gay, 1 is very overweight, 1 is in a wheelchair, etc. There are storylines for each character and has a somewhat soap opera type of show with storylines continuing with each episode. I watch it sometimes and enjoy it, but its more for teens then for viewers over 40 for sure. Its a cute show. sntchr

Ok, I get it that people like it, the show. That is fine.

I have always put "rock/hard rock" in the category of music that was usually wrote about and/or on the cover of "Rolling Stone"

I just struck me funny to see that!
