Noooo Dani, they are not Peeps (I hate peeps, lol) These are real Kraft marshmallows. You know the round white ones? Only for the holidays they are making them different shapes, colors and flavors. These would make wonderful Rice Krispy Treats (my favorite) and they would be strawberry flavored, yummmmmmmmm

oooh I just found a recipe for easy ones! I found it at allrecipes called Caramel marshmallow buttons... I'd use the softest marshmallows I could find... and I'd skip the rice cereal lol... so you'll have to imagine the picture without,,,, but maybe some crushed pecans??? oh my...

Ingredients

  • 50 large marshmallows
  • 1 (14 ounce) package caramels
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup butter or margarine
  • 5 cups crisp rice cereal

Directions

  1. Place a toothpick in each marshmallow. Place on waxed paper-lined baking sheets. Freeze until firm, about 1 hour. In a heavy saucepan over medium-low heat, combine caramels, milk and butter. Cook and stir until caramels are melted and mixture is smooth. Dip marshmallows in caramel mixture; roll in cereal. Freeze until firm, at least 1 hour. Remove from the freezer 45 minutes before serving, discard toothpicks.
