Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers and the Oneida Nation have agreed to an amended tribal gaming compact that
could bring retail Sports Betting to America’s Dairyland as early as this fall.
Under the agreement, Oneida Casino would be the only casino in the state to offer Sports Betting, which would be
exclusively land-based. The compact allows for wagering on professional and college sporting events but not games
involving the University of Wisconsin Badgers.

Evers said wagering on awards shows would also be permitted.

“This is a historic day for our state and will serve as a major milestone in the state’s partnership with the Oneida Nation
for generations to come,” Evers told reporters. “The Oneida Casino is a critical source of revenue and employment for Oneida Nation
and this expansion will bring new opportunities for employment and revenue growth to the Tribe.”

No information on sports wagering tax has been released.

The tribe hopes to launch Sports Betting by the start of football season in early September. Oneida Casino will
host a temporary sportsbook near its sports bar while a permanent one is constructed.

The compact leaves open the possibility of the tribe operating Sportsbooks at it other gaming facilities.

Oneida Casino is located in Green Bay, which of course is home to the Packers of the NFL. The casino is a 10-minute drive from Lambeau Field.

The amended compact now awaits approval from the US Department of Interior. The DOI has 45 days to review the compact.
