what do you think of this idea

hi all, i have a few friends that are older and do not have much money. I wanted to do something for xmas for them. they refuse money.so I went to walmart and got to large clothes baskets. one is for an older couple. i put in two large cans of Maxwell house coffee they like that brand but cant afford it also I put in 2 kinds of dry coffee creamer. they have a small dog so I put in a bag of healthy dog food a few dog treats and a coupe cans of dog food and a dog toy . I put in soups/ crackers. gloves and hats male/female. sauce/noodles. and a 25.00 gift card for walmart.i have another one I am doing for a single mom and her little girl. they will never know I did this as I do not want anyone to know. these baskets will be at there house xmas morning they will be put there in the wee hours of the morning while they sleep .this way no one knows. what do you think of this idea? i can afford to give it as I have been blessed with plenty .hugs alea

It's no biggie I like to help just don't want the people to know I did it.I like to keep it hush hush.and I always put the blame on Santa or the angels and the church.glad you guys like the idea shrugging don't tell on me ok.hugs aleas

I think that is amazing and the fact that you do it so they don;t know who its from makes it so much better.

Now they don't have to feel embarrassed or award.

I think there is a special place for people like you when our fun is done here even if it is as you say, "no biggie".

God bless you! Wonderful idea! It also gave ME an idea to hand out such packages to the homeless I encounter this season. A gift package with gloves and things. Great idea!

If everyone would do just one kindness to someone less fortunate than them, this world would be a much better place for all of us. It doesn't have to be much, even a smile when someone seems sad or down can make all the difference in the world to someone.

Small packets like this are common in our family and everyone seems to enjoy them, so a good idea imo
