Yes exactly labell, my asthma has been giving me what for this last week and I will no doubt end up with a cold - and I really don't want that as I am going away on holiday in a couple of weeks, and was sick last year when I went, ended up with ankles that were kankles - I could hardly bend them to walk up and down stairs...lol

It's sunny here in Amsterdam - but I expect some major rain coming soon. I am eating lots of veggies and hot soup, so I am prepared...

No labell we don't have those throat drops here. Mouche I hope your electricity is fixed okay now especially if your heating is electric. Don't think I could cope living in a place with snow ceks, I hate the cold. We actually had frost on the car last weekend, I couldn't believe it, we didn't have any all winter.

I dont like cold either...but I dont mind snow in December. And hot summer all year would be quite boring in the long term, the big weather variations between all seasons here I think make the people here feel good. But I wished the summer could last 6 months istead of just 3 here!

Mmmm. Maybe you should move down South? Holland is generally less cold than Sweden in the winter. Then again, Sweden's nature is absolutely stunning, whether it's summer, fall or winter!

Yeah, Ive seen you have some quite intense thunderstorms in the summer in Holland, that I like! But it is cold there too and I rather have white snow and -3 to -20 then around zero degrees and all wet, dark and cold.
Ive been in Holland a few days after new year, working on a car carrier ship...it was not my taste...LOL. And that salty water not freezing keeping my gloves wet still when its below zero killing me!

Yeah ceks, you are so right. The chilly wind and rain makes it feel much colder than it actually is; snow at low temperatures with little wind is so much nicer. Mmm. Maybe I should move to Sweden?

Frost on my car yesterday for the first time.... eeew lol

I do love the seasons too ceks... we have snowbirds here, people that live in Ohio in the summer and in Florida in the winter... my brother is one of them lol

Can't imagine Christmas without at least a hint of snow... Agree with you both, windy and wet is hard on the body... But after the winter of 1978 and 1979 I swore I'd never ever EVER complain about rain again lol got tired of the waist high drifts...

But I'm getting my electric broom all shined up and ready... ususally if I know where the snow shovels and salt are it holds off the snow for quite a while lol...
