Very scary here!

We have a very scary situation here in Binghamton. A gunman entered the American Civic Association and opened fire on people and then took hostages. It is on national news, They are not quite sure of how many are dead or wounded.
I am just a short distance from there.About 4 blocks. We have to pick the children up from school.They are not allowing them on the buses.
This is unbelievable!
I just want to get the kids home!

It looks like the situation is over. Thank God! Word is the gunman killed himself.

This is a horrible tragedy! My heart and prayers go out to the victims and their families.

Glad it is all over cas, I was thinking that this happened a couple of days ago when I first read it but then looked at the post date and see it was today, I haven't turned on the news since yesterday so must have missed it. I swear there was a simple thing only a few days ago, there is far too much of this going on, and it is the innocent that suffer.

The whole thing was unimaginable! Those poor people had no idea that it would be their last day on earth.

They have still not given any names of the victims.This is a very close knit community and what happened affected all of us.

There are way too many horrible things happening in the world today. All we can do is pray that things will get better.

Unbelievable, shocking, disgusting.
We have so many illegal immigrants (not saying that they need to be shot) in this country who are getting medical , dental, cable tv that we as taxpayers are paying for, have stolen people's identities and have no intention of ever becoming an American citizen,(they admit to it) and who laugh when they are going to be deported because they know they will be able to sneak back into the United States anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks depending on where their homeland is ( don't believe me? Go to any holding faciltiy and ask the immigrants how long before they will be back and how much it costs them)
and then we have immigrants who are actually trying to do things legally, actually tryng to do things the way it should be done and become US citizens and some madman, some ******* kills them.

I just found out that someone I knew for many years was killed by this madman. She was teaching an English class when she was gunned down. I am horrified and devastated. Roberta King was well loved by everyone.She taught my children English. She was the mother of 10 and had several grandchildren. She will be truly missed.
