Oh sorcer3.....your poor kitty must be real tired. Our dogs are the same way when they can't get in our room to sleep on the bed they scratch on the door until they get their way. Their both pretty spoiled.

I had that same radioactive treatment about 4 years ago and my husband and the dogs weren't allowed near me for 3 days. It was really tough being in isolation for that long but I got through it. Good luck on your treatment.

:clap

Wow five days....sorry to hear that, that's a long time. Did you have to swallow the radioactive capsule? I did and was told to stay away from everyone for 3 days and that seemed like an eternity.

Yea Carey, my husband sent me the link and I loved it. I play it all the time. Kind of reminds me of the way I feel most of the time. LOL

I love cats too. We have dogs now but we had the best calico cat in the world. I got her when she was only 5 weeks old and she was the runt of the litter (tiny). When she was 17 years old she got cancer and we had to have her put to sleep the day after Christmas. She had just turned 18 and she still looked like she did when she was a year old. It broke our hearts when we lost her.

I am so so sorry Tessa . Our animals are a part of who we are and they become one of us ..and also mean as much . That's so sad . We love both dogs and cats but now cats ..the boys even prefer them . Love dogs too though but they have to be walked :} . Did you get a new kitten yet? or not ready ?

That's the awful part about loving someone animal or human, it hurts so damn much when you lose them. Tessa I got my cat when he was about 6 weeks old. He was so small he could fit in my hand, my son's girl friend got him for Mark and the 2 boys and their girlfriends were all standing in the hall when I got home one day with the kitten and begged me to let them keep him. I was just about ready to get myself a dog, but gave in and let them keep him. I called him Lucky - cos he was lucky to be here, that dear little kitten somehow clambered up on my bed that first night and under the sheets into my arms and there he has been ever since. He just never clicked with either of the boys who are both cat lovers, so he is my cat now.

Thanks Silkprint and sorcer3 for the kind remarks and stories. No I never got another cat but we got a puppy, whom my name Tessa was taken from. She was my baby. I trained her from the time she was about 6 weeks old and she was the best dog I have ever known. A maltese mix and smart as a whip. We had to have her put to sleep right after she turned 13 years because she pulled a ligament in her leg and the vet put her out to take X-Rays and by the next day her liver shut down. I thought I would die!!! It's really funny how they become like our children. There are still days when I think of her and get all teary eyed and that was 8 years ago. About 5 years ago we got two beagle pups (sisters). They are active, cute, smart and stubborn all at the same time. They are a hand full but we love them "just like their our children". My daughter bought me a plaque that says "Animals leave footprints on our hearts" and it's so true.
