This Thread Bothers Me.....

and I know the streak is just looking out for their members but, there must be a better way. I am not talking about

the "site" in question in the thread, but, that any thread with the mention of a non-supported casino gets "altered"

or even slammed.

I will probably get slammed, but, I have never understood this policy (other than the "free advertising " part).

For example, A Site that the streak supports is considered "rogue" at another forum, and another casino that the

streak says is crap, is considered the best thing since sliced bread at another forum.

We do not recommend certain casinos for very good reasons. The reasons vary but they are ALWAYS in the best interest of our members! If you play at a casino we do not support that is fine, that is always your choice, but we can NOT help you if anything goes wrong. You are totally on your own in that situation. We do not just rogue them for the pure enjoyment of it, there is always a good valid reason. Either we find out they are crooked, corrupt, practicing illegal or shady business, bad experiences from other players or affiliates. There are so many reasons, but when we promote and support a casino you KNOW 100% they are trustworthy and reputable and we will always help you in any way we can if you ever have any problems with one of our sponsors.

These "other forums" you speak of that are promoting rogue casinos, are rogue themselves. Because any good honest forum I know of that isnt out there JUST to make money off of gullible players would NOT be supporting rogue casinos! Those forums are not ones you should frequent. We have been in this business for 9 years and have remained strong and reputable for a reason! The Streak has always looked out for our members FIRST, its just how we roll!​

Perhaps the thread can be posted as is, with "not recommended by Streak" attached to it, instead of editing a post. I think members can make up their own minds whether to play at a particular casino or not. Once they see the disclaimer "not recommended by Streak" they'll know they are on their own if something comes up, but the choice was theirs to make even after the warning. Editing a post is not the way to go and, as Weesie said, there might be a better way of attacking this particular problem of editing.

And perhaps, Carey, a smaller font when responding, it really seems like you're shouting at poor Weesie for voicing an opinion.

Ummm Zagora I would never shout at weesie and she knows that! If I were shouting I would write LIKE THIS in all capitals. I always use font size 3 on the forum in all my posts, its the size I like. But thanks for trying to stir the pot.

Wow I just now noticed this. I don't understand what is going on. The Streak has and never will be like any other forum out there. I for one am glad they don't keep the name of the casino in the post if it is a rogue casino. Otherwise there could be some people who are new to online gaming getting burned and it would turn them off of it forever.

I guess I just don't understand why they are being judged by people for the way the run their forum. They treat all of the members here really well. If you look back at Carey's posts in other threads it is the way she types. I really can't say that I have ever seen her rude to anyone. It sure isn't about money since I know they have dropped casinos for doing the players wrong even when they were making money from the casino in question.
