The Haunted Hotel

I noticed Streak isn’t doing the Haunted Hotel this year and I had to comment. The first year that you had it I was a newbie, I just played along. It was fun, I won a lot, and it really brought my favorite holiday alive for me. Spanning a week, it made everyday a celebration of Halloween! The next year, I’m a vet, savvy--I paid for immunity even. But it wasn’t as much fun, maybe I put too much pressure on myself. There were too many rooms, too many tasks, I was up late completing them. It felt like homework. Of course, I won very little. That’s beginner’s luck for you! But I still appreciated having the hotel. I have such mixed feelings, it was so cool and creative and fun but a lot of work too! I don’t think I was up to it last year. Anyway, bottom line is I just wanted you to know how memorable an experience I had with it, and thank you for your hard work to put it together those years.



Hopefully, when things change up with the laws we’ll have more members, more participants and maybe be able to have it again!

Thanks for the kind words Luck3Sevens, I think a lot of us will miss the Haunted Hotel and hopefully we can have it again next year, but it was just impossible as vixen has been away on conferences and our dear Judy is having a well deserved vacation with her family.

It just doesnt feel like Halloween without the Streaks Annual Haunted Hotel!!! I missed it so much this year!! I hope things get better next year and we can bring it back!! ​

There are several reasons for this not happening this year.

1. Lack of participation
2. Conferences( I was away twice this month with igaming conferences)
3. Vacation- Judy has taken her first ever real vacation for 3 wks
4.Freebies- We cannot always do free and members don't like to pay to enter

We miss it as well since it was our most favorite thing to do! Maybe we can have something for the New Year or something....
