I've know some of these ladies as well as some members for YEARS! You've come at a good time!! The Streak has always maintained thier reputation and integrity while other fourms were doing some real dumb and hurtful antics!I know, I was a MoD a couple times as well as a partner in a short lived forum.

So--

We've done the weed-wacking and cleared the brush

I'm happy and very proud to see my friends kick ass. They worked thier butts of to achieve what we have so far!! Trust me, I know the time and effort it takes to keep the wheels in top shape!!! They amaze me too!

Here's the story about the Bear.....

Owsley Stanley (born Augustus Owsley Stanley III, January 19, 1935) also known as The Bear, was an underground LSD cook, the first to produce large quantities of pure LSD.

Stanley designed some of the first high-fidelity sound systems for rock music, culminating in the massive "Wall of Sound" electrical amplification system used by the Grateful Dead in their live shows ( and it was a WALL of SOUND!)

Stanley met the members of the Grateful Dead in 1966 and began working with them as their first soundman and helping to finance them.

There's a GRATFUL DEAD L.P. called Bears choice that Owsley chose the songs!
