This is the first year (since I was a teenager) that I've filed on my own. Well, I owe money!! So, I'm going to the IRS to see how they can help me, maybe get an extension. :chainsaw

Talk about last minute huh!?!

I just thought of a old boyfriend and what he used to say to me- "Girl, you got more stalls than Santa Anita!!" (or fill in the race track closest to you)


Grown up $hit is way way way over-rated!

ALIMONY! And I just missed by about a grand.

I still have to file, which I'll do in the next few days. The lady I spoke with from the IRS over the phone said- "if you owe money, then you won't get a refund"

Who knows... Especially when it comes to government agency's!!! :chainsaw

Like you said who knows. But my guess is that they aren't giving it to you because they will take it from you b4 you get it. So I would find out if that money is going to be applied to your owe. If someone owes money to certain people or even the irs. Then they keep any of your refunds to pay the debt. Same with state. Owe state money they take any state given money! This hopefully will be your case. It just makes it that much less for you to pay.
