Thanks everyone! Phil is quite a character.

We went up to see him tonight after they moved him once again. They were supposed to have him in ICU earlier and doing a insulin drip to control his blood sugar and they didn't do it when they were supposed to so they may have to delay surgery by a day or so.

I am barely holding up through this especially with all the extra waiting. Anyway they took him down today to do what they call mapping. They mark him with a marker on his legs (I guess where the arteries are) He tells us that he was interviewing surgeons and the one that marked his legs didn't get the job. We asked him why and he starts laughing and says to us " I would like on that gets a little closer to my heart than that"

He really is in good spirits and unafraid. I try so hard not to totally freak out on him. I know him being so calm will help and it makes me feel so much better.
