He is sleeping finally - the little kitten that I am minding. My son's gf and her family gave their Nan a Rag Doll kitten about a week and a half ago, and poor Nan ended up in hospital and now wont be able to keep him. So as everyone else owns dogs I am kitty sitting him until they can either return him to the breeder or find him a new home. He is a dear little thing 'Eddie' but he is such a handful, he wants constant attention and is causing havoc with my Christmas Tree of course.

Yeah that was quick Judy. What a sensible idea dani, I had trimming the tree and then having to take it all off again.

I have a fiber optic big tree and needs no decorations lol. Its green and fake but looks so pretty. Dont have the strength to put it in its box so might just stay in the corner unlit until next year lol.:santa

Well my preference is my hanging Christmas tree... litterally a HALF tree that HANGS on the wall, 6 ft tall, it takes up - you guessed it - half the floor space. Fold the tree skirt in half, and it looks great lol

But hubbie and daughter prefer a real one... so we have a 6' fraser fir this year... unfortunately my husband had pulled it out and the stand right before he got sick, so it was in our front yard for 3 days... a good friend's husband put it up for us, and we'll take it down this week.

Sorcer3ss, my husband found a 2 week old kitten at his parents farm at the end of October. No mother or litter mates in sight, so he brought her home and we've bottle fed her and she's really something... my daughter calls her the tiny terrorist because she pounces n our feet at unexpected moments, and boy those teeth are sharp!

We left the tinsel off the tree, and she's left it alone.... We put her kitten house under the tree and she likes to lounge there lol

She has become best friends with the labrador, who patiently allows her to use her tail as a chew toy. She uses the dogs ear as a security blanket... and rubs her little face against it as she falls asleep... what a pair!

We introduced the kitten to my cat, Lucky, but he just hissed at the poor kitten and looked like he was going to bite, so we have had to separate them, luckily the breeder is prepared to take the kitten back, as it cost $700, so hopefully tomorrow it might go, I don't want to keep it too long, I am getting attached to it, and it follows me everywhere and curls up at my feet when I am on the computer.

Oh I'm glad to hear that! We had saved a stray from the street last year and were worried, but she established herself as queen of the house, and so were fortunate that they're ok together... the kitten is my husbands, so she's really missing him, I'm the closest substitute... I've never had cats, so didn't know how loud the purr can be when you're asleep lol! glad to hear you've got it worked out!
