US.- Sports Betting in Connecticut may soon be a reality but several parties are pushing to take a piece of the business. Last Friday, the lottery met with several potential partners to operate the segment in the state in order to plan the industry’s logistics ahead.
The CT Lottery is pushing against tribes, MGM and off-track locations to get the rights to operate Sports Betting but assures it has the biggest potential to collect the most revenue from it. Its officials assure they can make the segment accessible to residents in the state, generating more funds from it, and that’s why they have met with the private sector to contract a supplier for betting terminals.
Intralot, IGT, Scientific Games and NeoPollard Interactive, all of whom have experience in iLottery and/or Sports Betting, met with the CT Lottery.
