Are you superstitious??

I am never in a good mood over halloween.

On October 30th, 1983 my dad died at the age of 58.

For another 24 years I always felt bad on that day.

2 years ago on October 30th, 2008 my baby sister died at the age of 45.

25 years to the day of my dads.

I was pre-ocupied with these memories all day Saturday.

Sunday, I was alive and well and told David, "Well, it's the 31st and I am still here!" He kind of blew me off and said "That's good"

Yesterday, I found out my dead sisters' first grandchild was struck by a car on Saturday and is on life support in the hospital. She is 5 years old. The 30th again.

I read the obits every few days.

My Aunts brother-in-law died on Saturday the 30th of October.

I have lost a father, a sister, and I have a great niece on life support because of October 30th.

My Aunt has lost a brother, a niece, and a brother-in-law on October 30th.

Do I have reason to be concerned? Anymore after the 30th of October passes, I figure, I have another year!!

Wow, those are terrible occurences. I will pray for the little one and am glad that you are doing fine. Coincidences can be overwhelming at times. You can not let those things paralyze you though, you need to know that they are merely coincidences and not be afraid. :)HG

I'm so sorry to hear of all your losses! How sad to have them concentrated on one day... I'd breath easier after the 30th passes too. I'll keep your neice in my prayers.

Thank you to all of you. It usually takes me a few days to get my bearings and my mind off of it.

Then I get to wait until December 18th. That's when my absolute best friend died. She was only 47 at the time. And that was 2 years ago too. 7 weeks after my sister. That had to be the hardest fall season for me.

Sorry if I am a downer to you all.
