Tonight: Rain & increasing winds (gusts to 40mph by sunrise). Snow levels plummet from 7000ft to 3000ft by the morning & elevated communities surrounding the Spokane valley may see rain change into snow during the morning, but melting rapidly on contact.
Winter Storm Watch in effect until Thursday night for NE WA, N ID & W MT…Potential for 3-5 inches mountain snow above 4000ft…Lookout Pass may receive up to 3-6 inches by tomorrow night.
Thursday: In the valley, rains persist until afternoon then taper off with partly cloudy skies by late afternoon…for residents on the higher benches near the 3000ft level there may be a period of morning snow before changing back into rain. Otherwise winds continue to blow 25-35mph until late afternoon & snow continues to fall in the mountains... Low/High 42°/52°
Friday: Partly to mostly cloudy day with showers…Low/High 40°/55°
