Sad New Years for my family

But my older brother Robin was killed New Years day in Louisiana


He was just walking home.

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I wish I could go to the funeral but the airfare is just to much at over 500 dollars. My brother and I stayed real close even though he moved down south in the late 70's.

I emailed the man who wrote the article trying to get more info, bless him, he called me back in 10 min even though he had none.

I know it is hard not to be able to afford to go the funeral hon. I myself live 1500 miles from the rest of my family and have lost my mother and 2 brothers and could not attend any of those funerals. However, I also know that the only reason I would have gone was for my own peace and closure. I dealt with that in my own other ways.

My niece just notified me they made an arrest. I figured the driver had to be pretty wasted to not know he even hit someone,

It wont bring my brother back, but it helps to know someone has to take responsibility for their actions.
