I am so tired of rude kids! I mean really why do parents not teach these kids MANNERS! Well what do you expect when they are driven up to each house to begin with! REALLY is it that hard to get off your azz and spend time walking your kids around.. it is NOT that cold or raining in my area just no excuse IMO unless they are disabled in some way. Sorry to vent but there were so many rude kids this yr...
Gimme candy will get you a door shut in your face at my house!

yeah its crazy, trick or treating is not what it use to be, we even dressed up
to take our kids out, it was so much fun back then, lol

:chrsmnstr

i agree i feel like everyone used to be alot more into halloween when i was younger. like this generation of parents are just really lazy. we saw a couple people driving their kids around too when we were out :think i mean it was 55 degrees at 7pm..get real

I agree, they have gotten very rude!! We were never like that!!:lalalalala

my cousin said that one kid came to her door dressed as pikachu from pokemon,(which is a kids cartoon) and said 'if you don't give pikachu candy he will kill you!'...and his parents heard it and everything and just stood there and said nothing.... really?!

Yeah Ash that is just sick! I had kids coming that I know damn well were over 13 yrs of age which is the law here in my city. I mean some didn't even have a costume on!
Last year the neighborhood was so fun, parents were all dressed up and stuff and so many houses had cool yard displays. Hardly none of that this yr I wonder if it is because it was on a Weds or if it is the economy?
I just hope it changes since this is my very favorite holiday!

I love Halloween and didn't notice any of the bad stuff this year thank goodness. But I do understand what you are all saying and it all boils down to how those parents are raising their kids! So sad

We lost a rite of passage living in the city here. No one and no one I know goes Trick or Treating. I do wish the neighborhood had more spirit. The first year I moved back here, I put up a Spider on our door. We were the only ones! So next year I didn't do anything. Last year I bought candy, no takers. So I didn't even bother this year.

Well that sucks for the little ones Luck! I am so glad they still celebrate here.
