Does anyone use the "stop spin" feature on RTG slots?? I use it alot and it seems to help hits. When it seems like I am not hitting anything, I will hit spin, stop, spin, stop a few times just to loosen up a machine. Sometimes it even works!!:slotdude

Weesie - This is so wild because I was thinking the same thing the other day..if anyone else uses the stop button. I am like Judy because I get impatient too but your money goes so much faster when you use that button. For me it works sometimes and sometimes not.

I got 4 "Larrys" on the Three Stooges a few weeks ago doing that, and this weekend I got 4 of the one piniata you need for the bonus round too. Like I said sometimes it works really well!

I sometimes use it when I am on the free games as if you have a lot they take forever. I hadn't noticed that it pays any better though.

I use it when I have two of the three scatters and hope to shock it into giving up the third lol

But I've also wondered... if the spins are truly random, as in a rng, isn't the outcome already determined before we can hit stop....

i don't know about you guys, but i can pretty much predict if i'm going to hit the freespins or not, just by knowing the position when the last bonus symbol runs by.

Like on enchanted garden, when you get the scatter you need on reel 1, when it gets to the last reel, if the fairy is spinning past right when the 4th reel stops, you will pretty much hit the bonus.

Same thing on crystal waters.

Now, like T-rex, say if you get an egg on the 1st 2 reels, (i have a little trouble knowing the 3rd reel) but the 4th and 5th reel comes, if the egg when the 3rd real stops, if the egg on the 4th reel comes by about 1 second after the 3rd reel stops, it will be pretty close to hit, same with the 5th reel.

The stopping button i use alot, as it seems to help kick out the bonus more often, all though, me knowing when i should hit a bonus round, or even know where that 3rd scatter is to get the bonus round, the stop button DOES NOT STOP where you really stopped it.

I am absolute sure of this.

I know exactly where certain symbols are by knowing where a symbol comes after another on the reel. Very predictable if you pay attention alot as i do, and when you stop the reel, it will skip on what you stopped on, as like said earlier, the rng is in effect i guess.

I just know, trying to stop the reel on the bonus symbol tog et the bonus does not work.

I find it does work better in the beginning of the spin. Sometimes i'll spin 10-15 spins like that, but it does not always hit great, but i do tend to hit the bonus rounds more often that way then just letting them spin.

If the internet is slow sometimes, it doesn't pay to use the stop button because it will continue on for a sec or two, but, with a fast internet connect, I can get them to stop almost instantly. And I do believe it effects the outcome, for me anyway! I guess it's just my theory!

think about where certain bonus symbols are, then try and stop it on that symbol, it will not do so. I think before reel #1 stops if might affect the outcome, but during the middle of the spin, i think its pre determined or something.

I think you guys are all crazy.....giggles!! First of all, casinos are not random # generated like you think. The slot already knows what it's going to hit before you even make your next spin. It's random in the fact that you might hit 2 bonus rounds back to back or you might not hit it for 200 spins. But not random in the fact that it stops wherever it wants and no matter what you hit, it will not stop any differently then what the software has already
determined what it will hit. Believe me, I know this for a fact as I have a friend that is/was a programmer for a well known software company in my state.

well, i'm telling you, when you stop it on a symbol you want it to stop on, it does not stop where you stopped it.

I've seen it many of times when i hit hte stop button, that bonus symbol was there, but then the whole reel changed. in a nano second.

i know exactly where some of the bonus symbols are, and where they will be coming around, i pay much attention to these things and know when i'm going to hit the 3rd symbol, just by where that bonus symbol was at during the spin.

So a few times i've tried and tried to hit stop when the symbol came back, being able to predict where the symbol is, and it does not stop on that symbol like it should have, the reel changes position.

I know i can not be the only one that knows when they are gonna hit a bonus by knowing where the symbol is on the reel am i?

I just know the reel does not stop where you expect it to stop.

I've hit the stop button accidentally a few times and got a good hit but it seems that when I use it intentionally I get zilch!! Go figure.

eishagirl,

I know exactly what your talking about!!! And nope, you aren't the only one that knows when your gonna hit....I too know can tell when and where the scatter is on the reel to know if it might come back around and hit. That's exactly why I said that casinos are not random number generated like everyone wants to think they are. They are random only to the extent that you randomly hit good and bad spins, but the only one to know what spin will take place is the computer. :rodrge :wtchtv:turkeyday

The only good with the stop-button is that you can make many spins in a short period of time. As soon as you hit "spin" it doesnt matter if you hit stop or not. Maybe next spin change when there is less time between the spins.

I think 90% of us can see if we gonna hit a free spins feature on most slots before the last reels has stopped.
