Prepare for WSOP Event

I was really excited by the World Series of Poker being held at Las Vegas. May be, I would like to witness this mega event. Anyone can share thoughts on preparations to be made for attending it?

I need desperate help regarding this, as I don't have friends or close one's in the sin city.
