Prayers needed please

They just took Phil to the hospital. He hasn't been feeling well for a couple of weeks but he always tries to beat it at home. Tonight his heart rate dropped to 48 and it was skipping beats. He finally had me call paramedics and they said it wasn't working right.

The girls and I are stuck here at home and we are all pretty terrified. Please send good thoughts and prayers his way. Thanks everyone! The girls and I appreciate it.

Oh Michelle, I am sorry you can not be there with him. Prayers going out for him tonight. Please let us know how things go. At least he is in the hospital where they can help him hon. Hang in there

Thank you Judy. Feel like I am going crazy right now. I hate not being there with him but I was in touch with his nurse already. She said they are admitting him and at least I know he is where he should be. I live less than 5 minutes from the hospital so we can get there in a flash. He is one tough man and has been through alot but he sometimes pushes it way too far. I will keep you updated. The thoughts and prayers mean so much to us. My 10 year old was asking me where else I could ask for everyone to pray for him. We don't have many people here so she feels so much better that our online friends are here.

Oh no, Michelle, I'm so sorry to hear that Phil is not feeling well. It's a good thing that he's in the hospital where they can keep an eye on him. I am keeping you and your family in my prayers. I hope he has a speedy recovery & is home with you right quick!

Just got back from seeing him. I didn't realize how bad it got. They had to use the paddles to shock his heart back into rhythm. He is in good spirits though. Waiting for the cardiologist to go up there and they said probably later this evening. Thanks so much!

While we were up there they had him hooked up to remote paddles. They decided they could take them off and they are stuck on there real good. So Phil told the nurse to just rip them off. She said it will rip off the hair on your chest. He said just be quick and I turned my head because I couldn't handle the thought of the pain. All of a sudden I hear Phil using a girly girly voice say Ohhhhhhh nothing like a brazilian. I had been crying just a minute before and the girls and I were cracking up. It made me feel better to see him in good spirits. He really makes a good patient.

Thank you guys so much! I just talked to his nurse this morning. She was not very helpful or too willing to talk. She said they are doing a cardiac cath at 7:30 tomorrow morning. They are hoping his kidneys will be a little stronger this morning. Please keep the prayers coming.

Well thats a bunch of crap!! I would call and ask to speak to the head nurse, tell them you are stuck at home and are very nervous and when you call to ask how your husband is doing you expect to be treated better than that!! ​

Funny thing is when I was up there yesterday they had me set up a password so that when I called with it they would give me any information I needed. When I gave her the password she said that's not what I have. Phil and I have been using the same password for things like that for over 14 years. She can't tell me I don't know what it is.

The only thing I can think of was that I talked to his brother yesterday and I gave him the password so he could get info from the nurse. Maybe the nurse on duty after he knew he had permission to talk to him had him set up his own password. I don't know but I will be going up there this afternoon. Usually all the nurses in ICU are fantastic. I don't want to argue with her being that she is the one taking care of him.

Missmichelle I'm kind of new to the boards but want you to know Phil will be in my prayers as well.I know that when you have this many people praying for you it is all going up there to God and he will answer.
