The online Sports Betting app is expected to be live before Super Bowl Sunday.
The PointsBet sportsbook has arrived in Pennsylvania. It is the 14th online Sports Betting app to come to the state.
The sportsbook arrived through its partnership with Hollywood Casino York.
The new app will have to undergo a testing and soft launch process prior to going live. Scheduled testing has been set from
February 7 to February 9.
The final day of testing will be from noon to midnight on February 9. Once approved, the sportsbook is expected to go fully live by February 10.
PointsBet was originally founded in Australia and first launched in the US in 2019. Since then, the sportsbook has gone live in New Jersey,
Iowa and Colorado, as well as 11 other states.
Users will have access to familiar options that are available through other Sportsbooks, such as spreads, totals and for pro sports,
college basketball and college football. There are also bet boosts, live betting and NBA same game parlays available for users.
PointsBet has updated the sportsbook with additional features as well. Users will be able to make suggestions and offer betting ideas to the sportsbook.
Players can also take out partial cash payouts from bets they have going and collect on some of the winnings early.
Users will only have to wager bonus deposits one time before they can collect on those deposits.
PointsBet offers markets on the NBA, NFL, MLB and the NHL. It is available for iPhone and Android users.
