Plans for the 4th of July?

How many of you have some fun plans for the upcoming holiday? Fireworks? Camping? Picnics? :sntn

Nope, but then we don't celebrate it I hope everyone has a great time, you doing anything special Judy?

We will have our usual cook out. Up until about 4 years ago, David put on a huge fireworks display! He would spend close to $2000 on the things. Everyone and their brother would be here, bring a dish. We would cook ribs, burgers, dogs, brats, the works! We are getting older now and David can't "out run" the occasional stray firework like he use to. So, we don't do that anymore. I sure was fun though. Now, we just have family over. Small, but still a nice day!

I have done absolutely nothing on the 4th for years because that day was always spent with my brother. but then when he passed away, I would just stay home. But this year I am going to my Dads for BBQ, it will nice to finally get out of the house on the 4th again! ​

I am so happy you will do something this year Carey! Your brother would want you to spend this with family.
