After making a few successful small purchases, when I tried to use this today, I ran into this same problem. But, I wasn't going to let the mystery remain unsolved. So, I decided to call my bank (and yes, on the holiday, no one was going to deny me). It turns out that the 'Fraud' department flagged this vendor and was trying to contact me to make sure it was legit. Only problem--they couldn't get a hold of me because they had an old landline phone number on file that is no longer valid. However, I told them this was a purhase I was making so please unblock it. I didn't need to tell them what it was for, etc...none of their business nor did they ask. My suggestion is if you are running into this go ahead and do what I did and contact your bank. But, don't get 'trout mouth' and tell them what you are going to use it for (again, none of their business), you are just making an online purchase and want to know why it is blocked, that's all. Meanwhile, I'm good to go again.
I wish it was back in the old days of Neteller for US when we could make those small purchases and dream of big jps.
yes, it was my bank. They have a max cash withdrawal, which is fine, but, the site must list it as a cash advance, so, it flagged it "no" because I had already taken out the max for the day. Which is stupid, because, it is my money, I should be able to take it all out at once if I see fit. Anyway, it is working fine now.
