I forgot to mention that today is also my father's birthday, though I mentioned I spent "our day" together, actually last weekend. I'm so very lucky to still have him in my life; I lost my mom 13 years ago and miss her every day. My birthday back then was the last day I spoke to her, but hey, at least I got to speak to her before she died, right? She wouldn't want me to be sad.
