Got this in an email

Letter from one 'Angry Woman'
Written by a housewife from New Jersey and sounds like it! This is oneticked off lady. Some powerful words.

'Are we fighting a war on terror or aren't we?Was it or was it not started by Islamic people who brought it to our shores on September 11,2001?
Were people from all over the world, mostlyAmericans, not brutally murdered that day, in downtown Manhattan, across the Potomac from our nation's capitol and in a field in Pennsylvania?

Did nearly three thousand men, women andchildren die a horrible, burning or crushing death that day, or didn't they?

And I'm supposed to care that a copy of theKoran was 'desecrated' when an overworked American soldier kicked it or got itwet?...Well, I don't. I don't care at all.

I'll start caring when Osama bin Laden turnshimself in and repents for incinerating all those innocent people on9/11.
I'll care about the Koran when the fanatics inthe Middle East start caring about the Holy Bible, the mere possession of whichis a crime in Saudi Arabia

I'll care when these thugs tell the world theyare sorry for chopping off Nick Berg's head while Berg screamed through hisgurgling slashed throat.

I'll care when the cowardly so-called'insurgents' in Iraqcome out and fight like men instead of disrespecting their own religion byhiding in mosques.

I'll care when the mindless zealots who blowthemselves up in search of nirvana care about the innocent children withinrange of their suicide.

I'll care when the American media stopspretending that their First Amendment liberties are somehow derived from internationallaw instead of the United States Constitution's Bill of Rights.

In the meantime, when I hear a story about abrave marine roughing up an Iraqi terrorist to obtain information, know this: I don't care.

When I see a fuzzy photo of a pile of nakedIraqi prisoners who have been humiliated in what amounts to a college-hazingincident, rest assured: I don't care.

When I see a wounded terrorist get shot in thehead when he is told not to move because he might be booby-trapped, you can take it to thebank: I don't care.

When I hear that a prisoner, who was issued aKoran and a prayer mat, and fed 'special' food that is paid for by my taxdollars, is complaining that his holy book is being 'mishandled,' you canabsolutely believe in your heart of hearts: I don't care.

And oh, by the way, I've noticed that sometimesit's spelled 'Koran' and other times 'Quran.' Well, Jimmy Crack Corn and-youguessed it: I don't care!!

If you agree with this viewpoint, pass this onto all your E-mail friends. Sooner or later, it'll get to the peopleresponsible for this ridiculous behavior!

If you don' t agree, then by all means hit thedelete button. Should you choose the latter, then please don't complain whenmore atrocities committed by radical Muslims happen here in our great Country! And may I add:

'Some people spend an entire lifetimewondering if they made a difference in the world. But, the Marines don't havethat problem' -- Ronald Reagan

I have another quote that I would like to addAND.......I hope you forward all this.

'If we ever forget that we're One NationUnder God, then we will be a nation gone under.' Also by.. Ronald Reagan

One last thought for the day:

In case we find ourselves starting to believeall the Anti-American sentiment and negativity, we should remember Englandʼs Prime Minister Tony Blair's wordsduring a recent interview. When asked by one of his Parliament members why hebelieves so much in America,he said: 'A simple way to take measure of a country is to look at how many wantin.. And how many want out.'

The last thing, by the way, that we should dois to elect a Muslim as President of the United States, someone who claims tolove America yet, WILL NOT salute the flag, WILL NOT pledge allegiance to ourflag, and sat in a church listening to a 'pastor' that HATESAmerica! Are you Freakin' kidding me?
Only two defining forces have ever offered todie for you:
1. Jesus Christ
2. The American G. I.
One died for your soul, the other for yourfreedom. YOU MIGHT WANT TO PASS THIS ON, AS MANY SEEM TO FORGET BOTH OFTHEM.
AMEN!

This email has been making the rounds for years. An excellent and thoughtful response can be found here...

This bit....

...was added recently. Can we get a reality check here? Obama is not a Muslim. He has Muslim relatives. And so what? Let's conveniently forget that the Oklahoma, Olympic Village, abortion clinics, and gay nightclub bombings were perpetrated by "Christians".
All this flag nonsense started because some FOX imbeciles noted that Obama wasn't wearing a flag pin at some function or other. Big freaking whoop.
As far as his ex-pastor...at least Obama doesn't publicly court the endorsements of racist, xenophobic, sexist, homophobic, left-behinder, thieving, con artist, whackjob televangelists who not only use Christianity as a presidential litmus test...but a certain kind of Christianity. The same televangelists wearing Armani suits, living in mansions, being chauffered...you know, like Jesus.

Sigh. Killjoy, ain't I?

A question to my American neighbours...

Do you think the next election will end up like the last? I'm mean regardless of who we vote for, where ever we may live, we're gonna get screwed no matter what!
