She has a fracture on the side of her left knee. It's been her weaker leg since she's been home, but we had no idea!!! OMG, I feel terrible all around. After she came home from the care facility that "dropped" her or whatever, they lied and we are filing suit. She had her ribs X-ray'd at her Dr. her foot X-ray'd but they/we missed the knee. Had we found it sooner, she'd probably be walking with help by now.
My sister and I are going to put something together for people with loved ones in the same place. Especially with our population agging, you don't know this stuff, and have to seek it out. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth. I don't get that- HELP PEOPLE IF YOU HAVE INFO!! Blows my mind. And not a great commentary on our so called community!!
