I was just watching the News and they had clips and interviews and stuff from all the other countries. They are thrilled with this and embrace Obama and the change this will mean for Americans. I truly believe Obama is going to help bridge some gaps we have had as of late with our friends in other countries.

I don't want to start an argument here but i am fearful. I don't care about the color of someones skin, i care about the motives of a person. I believe we as americans have the right to bear arms and from what i read and heard our new president wants to take that from us. I know i would want to be able to protect myself if someone broke into my home.That scares me along with a few other things. May God watch over us all. I brought something to my spouses attention lastnight.. 2012 is in 4 years when the mayan calender will end and our president will be in office for that length of time. It says in the Bible there will be a great leader who will trick many followers. All our poloticians lie. The mighty dollar can move big mountains. What he says he wants to do is distabution of whealth. Doesn't that kind of sound like Russia was? I truly hope he will help our country and not bring it down. MY opinion. Even if Mccain was chosen i would have been leary of him to. I didnt like either of them.:showme

First Black President??? Like 3 of my Grandchildren, he is both African American and Caucasian.
Like many, I do hope he holds true to his promises, and I think he will ... I believe he is "for the people", and I believe that he will make positive changes in the way that Washington has been over the past 100 years with not hearing what "we, the people" want/need.
We are all entitled to our own opinions, and I respect each of yours.

Soooo many dont mention that for some reason. he is black And WHITE, a nice mix in my opinion to help change the racism in this country!!

I doubt he was the first president to have black in him.. probably just the first president where you could actually see it..
