NS Visa Question

Has anyone who uses NS been charged double this month. I just went to reload my card and it was 30.00 less than what I put on. I check my deposit history and saw that I was charged twice for the last deposit I made at a Casino. I called netspend and they gave me a number to call and have it checked ( that same phone number was under the last deposit that I made. ). I called and they said that there was a problem with people being charged double and that the problem should be fixed by the weekend and the money refunded to my account. Has anyone else had this happen to them. Thanks.

Hey nikki, you didn't say whether the number you called was for the casino or NS to resolve the issue. Assuming it was NS, if they told you it would be refunded within 7 days, it probably will. I would recommend that you submit an email via the NS web site if you don't see the money refunded within the promised time. That way, you will have an "issue trail" within your NSaccount that you can refer to if needed to get it resolved. And, after sending the email, give them 24 hours and then follow up with a phone call AND another email.

The reason I say be so diligent is that though NS is a good service, I ran into a similar problem a few times, and I had to be persistent to get resolution.

THIS HAS HAPPENED ON 5 OR 6 OCC. AND I HAVE ALWAYS HAD NO PROBLEM I USE NS FOR BILLS ETC.. I DONT HAVE CHECKING ANYMORE AND THATS WHERE MY DISABILITY GOES DIRECT DEPOSIT BUT IT IS CASINOS FAULT NOT NS I HAVE -22.00 BALANCE WAITING ON 240.00 THAT WAS DOUBLE CHARGED IT JUST HAS TO FALL OFF IS WHAT NS CALLS IT HOPE THIS HELPS YOU :beers

I called NS first and they gave me the 800 number to call . It was in Antigua and that number was also listed on my account page at NS under the second deposit that I did not make. So I am assuming that that is the casions number. Anyway I called and that is who told me that customers have been charged double and that the problem will be resolved by and weekend and their money refunded to netspend. Thank you both for your response.

Just to let you know my money was just refunded to my NS account. It was a mistake on the part of the Casino. Now I can paly. There isn't much I can do this weekend. There other day while I was doing some weeding in my yard I stepped in a bees nest that was hidden in the dirt. Well I got stong several tims on both ankles. Thank god I do not have an allergy to bee bites, but my ankles are quite swollen, itchy and painful. Going in the pool gives me some relief, but gambling takes my mind off of it. Just want to say that all of you here are so kind and helpful and I appriciate all of your replys. Have a good day and good luck on your gambling.yourock!
