I've found out today, that because I won at their casinos, Casino Coins, VIP SLots SuperSlots, English Harbor, Silver Dollar, and Caribbean Gold have taken me from my earned lifetime level of 650,000 points which made me a PLATINUM player, and made me AMBER, starting level!

Gosh I'm hurt, I'm angry, and I'm sick. I loved playing there, how in the world can they justify doing this to a good customer? I made multiple deposits, spent hours and thousands of dollars to win my level, to have it taken from me with an arbitrary management decision!

Think of all the times I've recommended them here... to each and every one of you, I say I'm sorry I hope they never treat you this way.

just received via email:

Thank you for contacting VIPplan.com.
We are sorry to inform you regarding your downgrade , but the automated bonus system tiers players based on a number of criteria including things like deposits, bonuses, withdrawals, lifetime as a customer, types of games they are playing, etc. As you are a winning account this caused the downgrade on your rewards level. The system retiers approximately once a month, so perhaps next month you might be moved up next time it does.

so... I'm a winning account and rewarded by being downgraded.... I just can't quite see the sense in that...

I'm getting really tired of getting disrespected by places I'm depositing at....

I think the problem is that they compare the deposit to withdraw ratio and if you withdraw more than you deposit you get pushed down. They look at like your play for the past year. If you have had mostly withdrawals EVERY single time you deposit then you are a risk to them. They will never make money from you. lol

I am sorry they did that to you. I don't understand their way of thinking, you would think that if you were ahead at their casinos they would want you to continue playing as we all know the casino always wins in the end. Now all they did is lose their chance to get the money back.

I know times are tough right now but you would think they would want to hang on to all their depositing players. I have had some horrible luck at inet lately. I got my managers bonus very early this month for 75.00. I lost that and deposited some more and emailed them and asked for a bonus. They gave me 50.00 and I lost that. Deposited some more and emailed them once again (which I never do) and they gave me another 100.00. All this since the first of the month. They really have my loyalty since they do seem to want to keep me as a player. Bottom line, play at a casino that appreciates your business.

:wowzayou would think they wouldn't care who wins or loses, someone has to win, i didn't think it was based on a single person playing in there casino...we as gamblers need to win sometimes, or maybe things have changed more than we want, a lose lose situation. anyway, i always thought it was a random chance to win or lose.....what about the rest of us that complain about losing all the time......more of us, then of anyone bragging on a win, i say give her points back, she earned them....again:wowza

thank you all for understanding... funny thing is, I don't care about the increased points I earn as platinum, I just liked being able to think of my self as a platinum player. It hurt my feelings to be sent to the lowest tier ... and while I do understand the method they use to assess, I just think you don't go around upsetting your customers if you want to stay in business. The really stupid thing is if they didn't put it on the bottom of the lobby, I'd never have realized it was lowered... they're the only ones who do it, the others just show you how to redeem the points, not what level you're on....

I have a contact that is looking into this Labell I am sure they have a good reason, I cannot see these brands going to the dogs just because they have closed down the aff program and new players entering. Hang tight I will get back to you.

Thank you everyone, but to make sure everybody understands, I did NOT lose the points...

I simply lost the title of platinum player and the benefits that went with it (increased points for play etc), I did not suffer from this other than emotionally being upset by it. It was one of those things I worked hard to achieve, I thought it would be awesome to be a platinum player.... and was just surprised that theyve started assessing differently...

I did lose the added benefits of the tier of rewards... but I was more upset by being labeled a beginner at my favorite place to play....

Thank you Vixen for the help, and reassurance. I really like playing there, and wish them only continued success. I'm quite happy with the methods to deposit and withdraw... and in fact went ahead and made a deposit yesterday after this had come up.
