Players hoping for a swift resolution to the Full Tilt Poker saga were left disappointed as the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC) adjourned yesterday's hearing until September 15 at the latest.
Full Tilt had its licence from the Alderney Gambling Control Commission suspended in late-June following indictments issued by the US Department of Justice and the site’s ‘subsequent failure to satisfy’ the jurisdiction that its ‘activities inside and outside of the US were in order’.
The AGCC then requested that FullTiltPoker.com appear at an inquiry into the matter with legal representatives for the domain beginning yesterday’s hearing at London’s Park Plaza Victoria hotel by requesting that the session be adjourned and conducted in camera.
“It is not in the interest of justice that this should be aired in public,” said Full Tilt lawyer Martin Heslop.
