It has now been announced that Bally Technologies is the first company to receive a recommendation from the Control Board.
The Nevada Gaming Control Board met yesterday and they voted unanimously to recommend Bally Technologies for a license to be an interactive gaming system manufacturer as well as service provider.
The company will now have the ability to provide business to business iGaming solutions for casino operators in the state of Nevada. This option includes online poker wagering.
Richard Haddrill the Chief Executive Officer of Bally Technologies commented on the announcement by stating: “This is a historic day for Bally Technologies, for Nevada, and for the gaming industry.

The state of Nevada is the first in the United States to pass a statute which will allow interactive gaming and they are also the first state to adopt online gaming regulations.
The Nevada Gaming Commission will be reviewing the recommendation made by the Nevada Gaming Control Board on June 21st, the decision will be made then. Cross your fingers!!!!
