I have used netspend for just under a year with over 500 transactions with only a couple of problems. Well thats all changed!! All of a sudden the 1st of this month I went and put 200.00 on my card and the gal where I do this at say's after I had gave her the money I was minus 180.00 I had this happen once before and they fixed it within a few hours. It was because of pending transactions. 2 at slotocash and 3 at vegasonline and goldencasino. This is where the nightmare starts. I messed up and used it at the gas pump once and it held the rest of my balance for 7 days. You must go inside and pay so it won't put hold on funds. Well I have spent about 20 hrs on the phone with the casinos and netspend both blaming the other for doing something different. They hold these funds for 7 days under 100.00 and up to 30 days for over 100.00 even though the casinos said they had been paid and had no pending for me netspend has refused to take the last pending of 100.00 spent at slotocash because I used it for gambleing. I have talked till blue in the face and they just keep saying if you will read our terms and agreements you will see its blah blah blah I have even talked to head honchos in texas and the same thing you are not suppose to use for gambleing. I tell them to look at my history and about 99% are casinos and they say ya and I say look at these dates and amounts at same casinos and there was no money held for pending and I get if you will read our T and A blah blah blah. I swear if I hear them say that again I am headed for texas to kick some ASS They have 55.00 of mine still from the deposit on the 1st of this month. I quoted them and said I did not spend over 100.00 i spent 100.00 so they send me back note saying its 99.99 and over. Well now I lose it. Everytime I call them on something they just change the rules to whatever serves them. You can't imagine how pissed off they have me. I will never give them another penny once I get what they owe me. They are ###### theives and ##### ******* and if it wasn't for all the rest of you that use netspend I would be on the phone to the Federal Trades commision and who ever else it took to shut down there Bullshit scam which they make millions of us gamblers but treat us like we are doing something they didn't know about. I have so many BAD words in my head right now I will end this post before I use them all... STREAKERS BEWARE you could be next...ONE PISSED OFF MOFO

Oh Crap, I too use my netspend for mostly gambling, I had a transaction from a casino that didn't go through on the casino end, but deducted from my balance on my card, and through numerpous calls to both ends was finally told that if the casino didnt try to get the funds after 7 days it would be returned to my balance! Now if gambling isnt an option to use the card for then WTF! Thant totally sucks Mos!

Hi moslow hon, i hear ya loud and clear! I had the one time fee of $9.95 a month on mine..it ran out and they charged me $1.00 per transaction along with $9.95! I called and was told my per month fee ran out and so they charge $1.00 for evey deposit i make but i understood that what i didnt understand was why the heck did they also take another $9.95?? I didn't get an answer to that. Also just lastnight i deposited $25 with inetbet and they took the $25 + the dollar fee and when i checked my account it said i made 2 deposits. So that meant they took another $26 for inetbet that i did not get. I called them this morn and was told that i have to wait 7 flippin days cuz inetbets deposits are pending. I think i am just going to do the allaccess gift cards for now on. No hassle and can be bought in $25 fee $3.95 $50 fee $.95 or $100 fee $5.95. I havent had any problems doing it that way. Albertsons use to sell them up to a month ago but quit and when asked why i was told i dont know. However you can still purchase them at Safeway in the gift card selections on the isle. :monster

Ya thats what I have been doing at safeway but they won't work at any casino that says anything about casino on there withdraw slip. and those same casinos don't have quik tender option. Besides that gets kinda exspensive 5% at QT and 5.00 or 6 at the store. But we do what we gotta do to get or fix....LOL I HATE NETSPEND I was going to play in slots tourney with the money there holding and I probably would have won the jackpot .lol Like I said BEWARE so they don't get you as mad as I am or was. I had to let it go cause I was about maxed on Blood pressure. ahhhhhh

moslow, Are you speaking of the gift cards hon? If so then no you cant withdraw back to them but you can use them at all casinos as far as i know. I use them at all micros, RTG's and rivals.

That totally sucks..
I have had it happen with both Netspend and Wired Plastic and I was advised by one of the casinos.. ( can't remember if it was or Intertops) is the best bet was to just wait the 30 days for it to resolve itself and not call attention to anything by phoning Wired Plastic or Netspend and complaining.. as that just gives them more ammunition against online gambling)

Oh and it has resolved itself in 30 to 45 days.. but it's frustrating while you are waiting..

Well, now you all know a couple of months ago when I had the netspend issue with iNetBet that this was an issue. I went round and round for the $25 deal and months later my netspend account is still in a $4.68 negative balance. iNetBet never got the money, netspend claimed that the "merchant" did get it and I gave up cos I didn't want to cause issues with the gambling thing. Though, that money would be great to have right now.

Don't let me tell you I told you so, but I hope it all gets resolved for you all. Meanwhile, I use my Visa Debit with little problem at ClubUSA casino...these guys are great.Then, if I win enough, I cash out to UseMyWallet (QuickTender) and spread the wealth among my other favorite casinos (iNetBet, Intertops, CasinoExtreme, etc.). Though, I don't gamble as much as I used to.

Ok..seems theres a huge agreement here, cause Netspend is doing the same to my mother. Twice now she has put money on her card, deposited at Grand Mondial or Slotocash, and they say the pending charge (thats extra) will have to wait 7 days.

Netspend already gets a load fee from us besided the $1 charge per transaction. I have never (knock on wood) had a problem with them. But, seeing as quite a few people are having this problem, leads me to maybe try using my wired plastic again or find something else.

The thing is Netspend says its not for gambling, but yet they let us use it for that cause they make a butt load of money from us doing that.

i also use netspend and i had a transaction declined at inetbet but was still withdrawb from netspend been waiting 7 days for netspend to refund back to my card they say will be on the 23rd so waiting to see
what happens at inetbet alot of times says declined so i have to redo the deposit and it works but only deducts once from my netspend

Ok Taz now you tell me!!! I could only see red when this happened!! What netspend said is your not suppose to use it for gambling but that they couldn't stop us from using it and if you do be prepared to wait 7 days for under 100.00 and 30 days for over. I won't stir anymore crap but I won't use it again. And no this is not gift card. Has my name on card! I may be blonde but I do know the differance...LOL

i have had somthing sorta like that happen because poker.com's credit card processor was taking up to 10 days to finalize there purchase and after seven days the pending amount goes back to your available balance witch i unkowingly spent after i had made a sizable deposit with them the week before anyways a long story short the next time i reloaded it i had a negative ballance on it because i never pay attention untill it dosent work and i have to reload.. netspend had to pay the money they authorized to poker.com it a glitch in there system they dont hold the pending money long enough usually beause 99.9% of transaction finalize in a few days it took some agravating conversations with those idiots because they wont give you a sraight answer and i was tryng to figure out how a prepaid card could have a such a large negative ballance.. i believe i got the last laugh because it was still 65 dollars in the negative even after the 200 i had loaded on it i was so pissed that i would have to drive 20 miles back to town to add more $ if i wanted to play that weekend i said screw them and found different card at safeway www.giftcardmall.com/visagift they have reloadable ones or 25 50 100 value cards :monster

does anyone besides me think its strange that most of your issues are with Inetbet? Maybe it isn't Netspends fault.. maybe Inetbet has a processor they should get fixed..
