The lobster's hairy cousin...The eyeless shellfish, about 15cm long was discovered in March 2005 during a diving mission in hydrothermal vents of the Pacific Antartic Ridge, south of Easter Island.

A Sea Snail...found in Arctic & Antarctic Seas. It spins a mucus-net off its paddle-like foot-wings to trap algae and other small particles on which it feeds.

A nemertean pelagonemertes rollestoni hunting for zooplankton prey that it will harpoon with a dart attached to the tongue coiled within it. Its yellow stomach reaches out to feed all parts of the body.

Who wants to go swimming?!?

These must be the life forms found in the deep deep depths where no sun at all filters in. They are all so strange, they have not had to adapt to protect from light or many other elements. I think they are so COOL! Thanks for sharing that MP!

I reckon between blue bottles, jelly fish and sharks, in fact we had 2 attacks last week in Sydney, one was right in Sydney Harbour, a navy diver.
